Police in Burlington are asking for the public’s help in identifying a person of interest connected to a series of reported voyeurism incidents in the city’s Hill Section over the past month.
According to the Burlington Police Department, multiple women have reported a man peering into the open windows of their homes during evening hours. In some cases, police say, the same individual is also suspected of following women as they walked through the neighborhood.
Authorities describe the person of interest as a white male in his early to mid-20s, standing approximately 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-10, with dark hair and a clean-shaven face.
Police are urging residents in the Hill Section to remain vigilant, especially during nighttime hours, and to secure windows and doors when possible.
Investigators are also asking anyone who may recognize the individual, experienced similar incidents, or has video footage from home security systems such as Ring or Blink cameras that may have captured suspicious behavior, to come forward.
