Soda Plant Sundays, hosted by Haymaker Bun Co., is a new series of free community events in Burlington’s South End, taking place at 266 Pine Street.
Scheduled for June 29, July 20, August 17, and September 21, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., these rain-or-shine gatherings feature artisans, farmers, vintage vendors, games, live music, and a beverage garden. The series launches This Sunday, on June 29, offering a vibrant mix of activities for all ages.
Event organizers say visitors can explore an indoor flea market at Brio Coffeeworks, serving coffee alongside unique finds. Outside, vendors from across Vermont will set up in the Soda Plant lot, showcasing handmade goods, produce, and vintage items. Guinep will host outdoor games, while rotating live music performances keep the atmosphere lively.
Venetian Soda Lounge will run a beverage garden, and Haymaker Bun Co. will offer sweet treats and lunch options. Inside the Soda Plant, 52 businesses and studios will open their doors, inviting visitors to discover their creative spaces. Highlights include the SPACE Gallery, Soapbox galleries, Revival Studio, and Kath Monstream’s studio. Pitchfork Pickle will host Bulk Days, serving fermented goods.
Free car parking is available in a portion of the Soda Plant lot and the Curtis Lumber lot.
