On Friday, November 17, the Burlington Fire Department was recognized by Vermont
EMS as a Pediatric Safe Agency. This is an acknowledgment held by only 11% of
Vermont EMS agencies. This voluntary initiative promotes high-level pediatric
emergency preparedness and care. It improves our agency’s readiness and response to
pediatric emergencies and demonstrates our commitment to quality emergency medical
care for the children of our community.
We are honored to receive this recognition.
