





Five people were arrested February 12 in a Burlington drug raid.
At 6:30 AM, members of the Burlington Police Department’s Emergency Response Unit and Detective Bureau, executed search warrants at 25 Elmwood Ave. #3 and 86 N Champlain St. #1. The search warrant activity marks the conclusion of a drug investigation that included several controlled purchases of drug evidence.
Kenneth Seales, 48, of Jamaica, NY, was arrested and charged with three sales of cocaine, possession of cocaine, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of fentanyl.
Darren Zanders, 60, of Bloomfield, CT, was arrested and charged with three sales of cocaine, and possession of cocaine.
Shawntaya Miles, 23, of Burlington, was arrested on an outstanding arrest warrant for failing to appear in court for the underlying charge of assault and robbery.
Michael Saez, 47, of Springfield, MA, was arrested on an outstanding arrest warrant for domestic assault, interference with access to emergency services, and unlawful mischief.
Brittany Knight, 36, of Morristown, was arrested on an outstanding arrest warrant for failing to appear in court for the underlying charge of unlawful trespass into an occupied residence.
Evidence of drug sale and possession was seized from both locations and is currently being processed by BPD’s Detective Bureau. The Elmwood Avenue apartment searched in connection to this operation is the same location officers responded to on Sunday February 7th which drew public attention.
