Starting Wednesday, December 18, new unwrapped toys and gift cards will be delivered to the University of Vermont Children’s Hospital.
These donations were collected by members of the Vermont State Police St. Albans and Williston units, Burlington Fire Department, Burlington Police Department, Northeastern Unit for Special Investigations (NESI), Burlington Electric Department, Colchester Police, Fire and Rescue Department, University of Vermont Rescue & Police Services, U.S. Marshals, Winooski Police & Fire Department, Milton Police & Fire Department, Cambridge Rescue, Chittenden County Sheriff’s Office, Shaw’s Supermarket, Salon Elixir & Boutique, Fairfax Fire Department, Underhill/Jericho Fire Department, Vermont Department of Liquor Control, Global Foundries, Vermont Department of Agriculture, South Burlington Fire Department, Essex Junction Fire Department, Essex Town Fire Department, PuroClean, Highgate Fire Department BWFD GEN VT, Charlotte Volunteer Fire and Rescue Services, Coca Cola, Grand Isle Sheriff’s Department, Bounet’s Energy, Allenholm Farms, Piltchinelli’s Restaurant, Georgia Fire Department, Chittenden Children’s Advocacy Center, TDI Repair & Towing, and Burlington Physical Therapy.
“Operation Fire Cuffs” is a joint effort to collect new toys and gift cards for children at the University of Vermont Children’s Hospital and University of Vermont Medical Center. This is the fifteenth year in a row. You can follow Operation Fire Cuffs 2025 on Facebook.
Donations can be dropped off or mailed to the following locations: Burlington Fire Department Station 2 at 132 North Avenue, Burlington, Vermont 05401; Vermont State Police Williston Barracks at 2777 St George Road, Williston, VT 05495; Burlington Fire Department Station 1 at 136 South Winooski Avenue, Burlington, Vermont 05401; or Vermont State Police Saint Albans Barracks at 140 Fisher Pond Road, Saint Albans, Vermont 05478.
