The Burlington Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the individual  shown in the attached video/photo. The person is a ‘tagger’ of the graffiti on Main Street, across from Edmunds High.

A “tag” is a form of graffiti where an individual quickly writes a stylized signature or name for  recognition. If you recognize the person or the tag, please contact the Burlington Police Department. 

The Burlington Police are actively investigating a vandalism which occurred overnight at 266 Main  Street. After a successful community event that brought people together to paint a mural, the building  was targeted by vandal(s) overnight, defacing the artwork with graffiti. 

Officers are canvassing the area for sources of video and eyewitness evidence. Acts of graffiti are  prohibited by both Vermont State Statute and Burlington City Ordinance. Anyone with information  about this incident should contact Officer Kelsey Johnson at (802) 540-2143.
