Friends-
We are approaching a critical juncture in Burlington. There is uncertainty surrounding public safety, about the City’s finances, a growing homelessness crisis, and a continuing addiction epidemic.
Tomorrow, the Burlington City Clerk will dispatch ballots to all registered voters. Now, more than ever, we must rally behind the cause of fostering robust leadership and embracing diverse political perspectives in our city, including conservatives.
I have a demonstrated track record of understanding the multifaceted issues facing our city. I am present and engaged, particularly during our most difficult conversations.
I’ve advocated property tax relief for our seniors and disabled. I’ve advocated for policies for Burlingtonians experiencing homelessness to be humane and dignified.
I’ve advocated for compassionate custodial care for treating violent recidivists.
And I will continue to advocate for rebuilding our police department to become the exemplar of public safety in this state.
The challenges we face demand innovative solutions and inclusive governance.
Your continued support is instrumental in shaping the future of our city and ensuring that we rise to meet these challenges head-on.
Together, let us reaffirm our commitment to building a Burlington that thrives on the strength of its leadership and the richness of its diversity.
